Irene began performing with The Yuletide Carolers in 2004 and is happy to again be filling the role of Florida Director this year. She has been performing professionally for the past 20 years, and has spent the past 15 years as an active member of the South Florida professional regional theatre community. She has worked in theaters throughout Florida including Coconut Grove Playhouse, Florida Stage, Actors’ Playhouse, Caldwell Theatre Company, GableStage, Palm Beach Dramaworks, and the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.

She is a ten-time Carbonell Award nominee and has won the award three times -- the Carbonells being the award given in South Florida to honor theater excellence in the Tri-County area. She is also a graduate of Florida Culinary School’s international baking and pastry arts program.
