IRENE ADJAN
SOUTH FLORIDA
Susan Santoro Martz
COLORADO
Irene began performing with The Yuletide Carolers in 2004 and has been filling the role of South Florida Director since 2006. She has performed professionally for over 25 years as an active member of the South Florida professional regional theatre community working in theaters such as Coconut Grove Playhouse, Actors’ Playhouse, Caldwell Theatre Company, Palm Beach Dramaworks, and the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. She is an eleven-time Carbonell Award nominee and has won the award three times.
Irene is also a graduate of Florida Culinary School’s international baking and pastry arts program.
Susan is a jersey girl born and raised. Singing and dancing her way through the regional theaters of NJ, CT, DE, & PA, Susan quickly found herself living her dream on the Broadway stage in Evita, Late Nite Comic, CATS, A Chorus Line, and Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. She was an original member of the Broadway Inspirational Voices, and has done numerous club acts for Broadway Cares, Equity Fights Aids. After meeting her (soon to be) husband in a show in L.A., where they played husband & wife, Susan realized together they made "beautiful music together" and married in 1995. They started their first season of The Yuletide Carolers in NJ that same year with only four carolers and some rented costumes. 25 + yrs later, they have compiled over 60 singers during the holiday season, costume them in professionally hand crafted Victorian attire and sing for both the rich and famous, as well as for charity organizations and everywhere in between.
During the rest of the year, Susan finds fulfillment in the healing arts. Keeping a body/mind connection through Yoga & Meditation is her super power. She dedicates her time educating others on self care using nature's tools and has written a book that reflects her teachings. http://www.susansantoromartz.com
